Kites will take a year to complete

DNA reports that Hrithik is not interested in blogging and don't want to comment or join the war of blogs. He also mention that Kites will take a year to complete.

"I am not interested in blogging and don't want to comment or join the war of blogs. Sorry, no blogging for me," says Hrithik. "I am enjoying my fatherhood these days and very soon will be busy with my next project 'Kites' to be shot outdoor extensively. I am not giving any serious thought to blogging given my busy schedule. As for the future, I can't say," he says. Hrithik, who reportedly for the very first time in his career plays a "raunchy" role in his dad's next "Kites" says, it's too early to talk about the movie as shooting is yet to start. "Shooting will start from the next month and it's too early to talk about it at this stage," says the actor, who made his film debut with the blockbuster 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' (2000). "This movie will take a year or so to get completed and I will have more to talk about it after its completion," he says.

Hrithik is more than a wow

Director Ramesh Sippy talks about the modern day of Bollywood cinema and mentions how technology made Hrithik more than a wow in Dhoom 2

"Technology will always help. It's how well you make use of it," Sippy said. "A lot of people tend to misuse it and then blame technology." In the 2006 crime thriller hit "Dhoom II," technology took actor Hrithik Roshan's talents to a new level in his role as a globe-trotting super-thief, Sippy said."You can see the way special effects were used to bring out the presence of Mr Hrithik," he said."His talent was there, but with technology, they created an unbelievable fantastic image of the man that made all the girls say 'Wow.' He was always a wow, but he was even more of a wow."

Stardust has an interview with director Anurag Basu where he talks about Kites.

Rakeshji had called me when I was making 'Metro'. He told me that he saw 'Gangster' and liked it very much and it was only after watching it that he decided to work with me. A month after 'Gangster's release, he called me and asked, "Do you have anything for Hrithik?" but then I was completely occupied with 'Metro', so I couldn't give him a story for about a month. Then he called me again saying that he has an idea and asked if I would be interested in developing it further. So I went ahead and that's how it was done, I developed the story and both Rakheshji and Hrithik liked it.

There were other actresses who are as big as her like Spark Vega, Catrina Morino and Barbara Mori. These were the three names we were trying to get in touch with and we got Barbara Mori. She is the best and her films are doing very well in Latin America. I feel nobody could have been better. I was lucky because in the first narration itself, she agreed and we didn't have to struggle to convince her.

I was a big fan of Hrithik earlier but now I am a bigger fan of his after working with him in 'Kites'. The kind of sincerity he brings into his project is unbelievable. I think he is the only actor today who loves to challenge himself with every character he plays, take for instance 'Jodhaa Akbar'. With every film of his, he raises the bar because of which even his co-stars deliver the best. To work with him is a challenge. So I am sure that we are going to have a blast while shooting the film.

TOI has on the set report on the Hrithik's appearance on Junoon… Kuchh Kar Dikhaane Ka.

Hrithik then proceeds to interact with the performers. He chats with them, guides them and boosts their confidence. Hrithik is completely besotted by the young singer Ashraf and can't get over the way he speaks! He bursts into laughter every time he had to pose with Ashraf who screams "Aactionnn! Chalo Everyone Smilee Please" . There's an emotional moment when Ashraf suddenly bends down to take Hrithik's blessings!

The shoot is proceeding rhythmically till late evening after which….there's suddenly a lot of hustle-bustle and then….a blast of excitement…It's none other than the heart-throb Hrithik Roshan who appears on the stage and elicits taalis and seetis galore! "We didn't know Hrithik was going to be here; hope I get an autograph or better still, a picture with him!" are the comments being heard backstage. Meanwhile, Hrithik, who is the goodwill ambassador for the show and is here to lend support to the performers, grooves to songs from each genre, beginning with Khwajaa (Sufi), Bhumro (folk) and Break Free (Bollywood). The set reverberates with applause as he sets the stage on fire with his wow moves after which he gives a small speech saying "I relate to the junoon of these performers because I too have it in me to give the best to anything I do!"

Hrithik to fly high with Kites soon…

Hrithik is spending as much time as he can with his sons before shooting for Kites which starts next month. He told India Times, "We begin shooting in July, and will be shooting in USA, Las Vegas and Mexico. We're going to be out of the country for more than two months. The film will be ready by year end,"
